Haha, all you guys suck. I must've had my PS2 for 3 years now, it plays everything and I've never had a disc read error.

I've never had a problem playing PS2 games EVER. It helps that I don't have a PS2 though. I might get one when the PS3 comes out. Lots of dirt cheap gaming for me then.

I reckon Jet Set Radio Future's somewhere up there, and the first Prince of Persia's mint too. I played Soul Calibur 2 for more than 100 hours, and similarly Halo for about that much time, so they must be pretty good (or maybe I'm easily entertained). Animal Crossing and Resident Evil 4, as well. Chronicles of Riddick and Transformers were surprisingly good licensed games. And the GTAs. And every other game released since the year 2000.

I reckon Jet Set Radio Future's somewhere up there. Yep, I meant to include that in my own list. Cell shading can be quite wonderful. As can urban rollerblade "vandalism and anarchism simulators" (as Jack Thompson might say). I might have a little go now instead of writing my essay.

I might have a little go now instead of writing my essay. And I did. It turns out that I'd racked up almost 24 hours worth of gameplay on this little beauty, which is a fair amount for Harolds. It's totally awesome and I love it lots. Although the old Sega "let's make a difficult, fast paced level with lots of small ledges, then remove the floor so it's instant death if you mistime a jump" trick does grate on certain levels, if I remember correctly.

In fairness I should have changed my PS2 when the first game I tried playing on it, GTAIII, said Disc read error. I thought it was the fact it was a preowned game with a slight scratch on it.

All PS3 games will be one blue discs won't they since it uses Blu-Ray doesn't it? So atleast there ought not to be any problems with those anymore.

The Sony/Microsoft pissing contest extends to their preferred generic storage media too now, does it? How dull. It's going to be used to store EXACTLY THE SAME GAMES, REGARDLESS.
"No, no, Harold. Blu-ray FIFA is going to be the BEST!"
They can store the games on a f**king slice of toast for all I care.

There wasn't really an argument. It was just Harold shouting IN CAPS at Microsoft and Sony for being a bunch of gays. The only people arguing over this are Sony and Toshiba.

I wish these big companies would just leave things alone, we've already been forced into buying DVD's and now they want everyone to suddenly switch to yet another format. It does'nt impress me one bit.
