IMO the PS was only as successful as it was because it was possible to buy copied games for it everywhere. Well, that and it had the support of squaresoft, definitely a big plus in my books, although i never actually bought one.

I was gonna get one about a year and a half back, because the games are so cool, but my mum got me a silver GBA instead.

Is it an orriginal GBA or a SP? Oh and definatly try to get Zelda a link to the past and Mario and Luigi superstar saga they are IMO the best games availible on the GBA right now. Oh and the advance wars and fire emblem series.

It is an original GBA and the silver edition i got came out JUST before they announced the SP! I didn't really like advance wars, although I know a market stall that sells brand new GBA games for £15, but they don't have a box. Slightly older games are £9.99 or 2 for £15. I'm going there on monday and hope to get wario ware or metroid zero misson (as its not worth £30 due to only 3-6 hours play time). I know they work from there, as I have bought Robot wars: Extreme Destruction (the 2nd one) for £9.99 and Pokemon Sapphire for £15 from them.

I was just asking as I put ad's in my local paper a while back to install afterburners in peoples GBA and I have a few left. If you want one you can have it cheap. Although you will have to fit it yourself but If you are at school you should be able to ask your electronics teacher to help with the solder points.

I was just offering. But if anyone else needs a cheap After burner just tell me I have 3 left and I will let them go cheap as I had 50 and was charging £12 more than I bought them for to cover the instilation. Made quite a bit of profit out of them. Although It seems that no one wants them any more. £14 including P&P if you want one (They come with the screw driver you need).

After Burners? That's Yu Suzuki isn't it? Surely not on Nintendo!

as well as being a retro sega game, afterburners are also backlights that could be installed in old style GBA's

they were'nt very well known outside of gaming mags and forums as they were created by a tiny company who sold them via mail order (plus you had to install them yourself which meant taking a screwdriver to your GBA)

I knew about them from Total Advance magazine until that stopped production due to the price of GBA games and people would rather save money for games and batteries, than buy the magazine

It's amazing some of the crap they let people trade in. I never had an N64. Played on the one at the youth club a lot though. Personally I prefered my Dreamcast plus I never understood why the control was laid out how it was. You had half a pad unused on the things.

I played a Nintendo 64 at a youth club myself about 5 years ago but no matter how many times I see a second-hand one I never seem to get around to buying one.

I reckon it's ok in a board like this, there's not many topics. It's only really a problem in off topic, gaming and entertainment.
