Errmm.... late 80s (since I was only born in 1985) on the C64 and it was this crappy Batman game... not the one based on the film which at the time looked amazing.

The first video game I ever recall playing was Atari's "Pong" around 1975 - it didn't exactly grip me though, I only played it ONCE! The next was a puzzle type game galled "Android Nim" on a TRS-80 Model 1 at an electronics fair in 1978, followed by a "Space Invaders" style game on an Apple ][ on the stand next door....and the rest is history.... TTFN - Pete.

The first games I remember playing were Amidar and Pac-man on the Atari 2600 - must have been around 1981.
The game that I remember most clearly though was Skool Daze on the Spectrum. It was great... catapulting teachers... hitting kids... and the graphics were so bad that when you jumped it looked like you were sticking your two fingers up. After playing it at a friend's house I asked for a Spectrum and Skool Daze for Christmas.

Ahhh, Skool Daze. It's even brilliant now. Hopefully Bully will prove to be a fine addition to the free-roaming-school-mischief genre.

Errmm.... late 80s (since I was only born in 1985) on the C64 and it was this crappy Batman game... not the one based on the film which at the time looked amazing. I remember when my dad finally agreed to buy us a computer, ahh the delightful Atari 520 STE. Came with loads of ace games like Bomb Jack, Outrun, Star Goose - but he also stretched to getting us Chase HQ and Batman: The Movie - Which I totally agree was amazing at the time. It had the perfect blend of platforming, driving/flying and puzzle elements. The driving was awesome as you had to use a kind of battarang on a rope to pull yourself round side streets. I can't actually work out what the first game I played would have been but it was almost definitely something on my friends Spectrum - Ohh how jealous I was of that tape driven monstrousity.

Can't specifically remember the first game. But I remember getting my Atari 2600, so it would have been out of Centipede, Smurfs or Skin Diver. Aaaah, the memories!
