I remember night driver. They made it night as the machines at the time couldn't cope with backgrounds. so they made everything black and set it at night. I remember it being a great game.

The first games I remember playing were on the Vic20. They were called Rockman and New York Blitz. RockmanSo very simple but yet incredibly addictive. New York BlitzRidiculously simple but I was addicted to this game as a child.

The very first game I played? Pong, at a very early age. Compared to all the mainstream modern rubbish you lot have mentioned this makes me look pretty hardcore. YOU LOT?! Have you even bothered to read what my first gaming experiences were? Also, saying that playing Pong as your first game doesn't really make you look 'hardcore', it just means you're probably older than the people whose first gaming experiences were of a more recent nature. Oh, and just because the games are more modern than Pong doesn't necessarily mean that they're 'rubbish'...I'm pretty confident in the fact that nowadays Pong can be safely classed as 'shit'; it's still a classic but come on, it's dire!

You'll have to excuse me Garrod, but seriously - i'm strongly doubting your authenticity of late. Since your resurrection you've been extremely odd and un-garrod-like. Most especially your GC teletext letter appearances. Either you slipped on some wet foliage and damaged your cranium or, (dare I say it) you're an imposter! Naturally, if i'm entirely wrong then please excuse me for being so rude

Your style of writing has changed and they don't read like Garrod compositions.
They lack refinement, though they do retain oddity (see GC p.379 PS3 Ebay).

I'm getting really confused here now! Explain more! It is the real me though. The only way I can really prove it is for me to give you my email address and for you to email GameCentral asking them if it's the email address I use to send them my emails. That should convince you, surely? Cheers!

I have found Memories of this game. After many trials and tribulations in your mind set, where did you eventually find them? Besides, you shouldn't be thinking about Kidd's...

I notice GC: Teletext has opted to run a similar topic for Inbox this week. Nice of them... I actually meant to write a response to a question on there the other week but couldn't be bothered, so I stuffed myself to the gills with jelly and vomitted for approx 0.5 seconds - Just enough to get the acid thrill associated with regurgitating

I believe my first gaming experience was on the Atari (not sure which model) and it was the Smurfs! hehe all you had to do was walk left to right and jump over fences and avoid this scary crow. Damn fun I tell ya! I must have been about 3 when I 1st started my gaming legacy. Along with that I also played: Pacman (of course) Missile Command Gorf (awesome tank game) Q-bert Space Invaders Donkey Kong and a few others which have eroded in my memory...

the first game i ever played on the arcades was Shinobi (it totally got me addicted to video-games bigtime). i also loved Shadow Warriors.
on a home machine one of the first was probably The Last Ninja on C64. it was also a personal favourite.
Ninjas were cool those days.
