Hello and welcome to the IV2 download topic.
First up, for all you newcomers, to play this RPG game i have made, you will first have to download RTP.exe and Fontfixer from the following web link, these two programs are the files needed for you to be able to run it on your computer.
www.secretzone.org/rpgmaker2000.html
Please note: When installing, DO NOT change the install path from it's default settings as that can cause all sorts of unseen problems. Also, once you have installed them, you MUST restart your PC before continuing. (Additionally, IV2 is not compatible with some older PC's and Apple Mac's).
Next up, you need to download the game itself, you can do this by clicking below...
www.theunprettier.com/iv2.zip
Once the download is completed, you will find the following when you open the zip file...
To install IV2 on your PC, click on the icon i have circled in red and then you will be taken to the install screen. Again, DO NOT change the install path as that is bad, should you do so then i don't accept any responsibility for things going wrong as you will have been a dumbass and not listened to my advice.
Still, once installation is complete, you are ready to play so just find the game file on your PC (it is called Fontana) and click on it. The screen will then go black for a moment and you'll soon see an ASCII logo as the game loads, after a few more moments you will arrive at the title screen and can then begin your adventure.
Game Controls
-------------------------
Arrow Keys: Move Zack
Space Bar: Examine/Select/Talk
B Button: Cancel/Access Inventory
This topic has been locked as it is strictly for download and installation information only.
Anyways, during the BETA test of IV1, i completed it whilst doing everything in just 33 minutes, IV2 however is much bigger and the BETA test took 3 hours (remember though, you guys will take longer as i knew what to do and where to go).
Another tip also, don't rush your way through it, the game rewards those who make sure they do everything in each area before moving on (be sure to examine everything too as most things will be clickable).
Okay then, so that's pretty much everything covered, hope you like it
