I had some half decent titles on the Master System; Alien Syndrome, R Type, Rastan, Rocky.
The Mega Drive has some great platform games. I have now about a collection of 20 Megadrive titles I got since the summer. Mostly off ebay or Car Boots.

Remember the Legend of Toki: Going Ape Spit?
What a bag of crap that game was.

Road Avenger on the Mega CD truly stank, the entire game was simply one long Shenmue style QTE session (though in Shenmue, such a thing worked well because it was only used in the odd event).

Was that the one were there were arrows on the screen helpfully pointing out the direction?

Yep.
Space Ace on the Amiga sucked even more though as it did'nt even have arrows so you had no idea what to do and died after the first 5 seconds.

I have Dragons Lair on the Amiga, it would to be a waste of time playing, if it weren't for matey who sold me a load of amiga stuff for a fiver at bootsale, helpfully providing a walkthru guide.
As well as an A500 I have an Amiga 1200, boxed with full manuals, extra disc drive and hardly any yellowing on it at all. I was looking on eBay the other day and saw an unboxed one with yellowing on it though with similar accessories go for near £80.00 inc p&p. I only paid 7 quid for mine.
Kerrrrrrching!!

I'm amazed my Amiga 500 STILL works. I'm debating whether to get a Master System if I see one at car boot sale's this year. My old one disappeared years ago.

My Amiga worked up until i had to give it away also, same applies for my Spectrum. Unfortunately because of a lack of space i could not take them with me when i moved (plus i had to make the decision quickly since we only had 8 days to pack).

Zool was a high quality game I was more a Cool Spot person myself but Zool always carried a great soundtrack. Indeed I still have the inferior sequel on my Amiga CD-32! Worst console ever

More Megadrive bargains from local boot sales. My brother yesterday got a Megadrive I with six half decent games ( MK1, Streetfighter II champ, Castle of Illusion) for 3 quid. Works perfect. He also got a Speccy 128 for 2 quid (knackered) The gem was a Hong Kong Phooey Video for 50p.

I had to pay through the nose off ebay (7 quid, well its a lot for me to spend, that could have been three bottles of dry cider) but at last I have got Wonderboy in Monster World for the Megadrive. Quality gaming.

Super streetfighter 2 and Road rash 3 gave me and my mates many a late night.I remember my first 6 button pad that was way better than the snes counterpart. The megadrive also nursed me through 5 month of hospital with broken feet/legs...thank you sega!
