I wa expecting them to have a top 10 finish and they go and buy the two best Argentinian players of the present time, HOW? where does everyone expect them to finish this year?
I'm guessing 7th top four will be same as last year, maybe in different order then Tottenham, then in any order Aston Villa, Man City, Bolton, West Ham, Everton, Newcastle.

There are a number of hidden factors behind the buys. 1. Corinthians will get a huge sell on fee. 2. Rumour has it corinthians can buy the players back for the same price 3. MSI were trying to buy West Ham last year. Could this be the start of a takeover bid, and that these 2 were to sweeten the deal?
Either way I really can't wait for a next match, I was shocked to hear we may be getting them on loan, but to here we actually have them "permanently" is phenominal

I hear a takeover is planned, and that they minimum fee clauses of £35 million not bad for West Ham, unless Chelsea decide they want them that is.

NEWS JUST IN: West Ham are having "exploratory discussions" over a possible takeover. The move comes hot on the heels of the club luring Argentine pair Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano to the club.
"Discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that an offer for West Ham will be forthcoming," said a club statement to the Stock Exchange.
"The board also confirms that there is no contractual link between the signing of the players (Tevez and Mascherano) and the bid discussions."
More to follow.

Here's a completely hypothetical scenario.
Rich sport agency gives loads of cash to stop a club from folding up.
Said sporting agency then has the exclusive rights to all players in the club.
They could then give a couple of players to another club free of charge while still retaining the contracts. (A glorified loan, if you will.)
A year after this the players then move on to a bigger club with the Sports agency getting 90% of any deal and the club they were "loaned" to get 10% for their time and trouble.
Everyone's a winner!!
