So tonight I went to see The Da Vinci Code with my new lass. Both of us had read the book (rather good) and hadn't seen the movie.
Well my view was that it was ok. It's the sorta film that you'd watch if there was f**k all else on tv, but that's it. It stayed relatively close to the book considering it was a movie, however it did change a number of points and facts which were a major part of the book. The acting from Hanks was very wooden, like he didn't give a shite, paul bettany was rather convincing (it looked like he enjoyed the whipping really) however Sir Ian Mckellen stole the show as Leigh Teabagging or whatever he was called.
It's not a bad film, it's just isn't as good as the book, which tends to be the case. Rating 6/10

New lass ? Is that a good idea so close to going to uni hours away from her ? As a friend i back your judgement. I thought this movie was abit bible bashing like from what i heard like.

It wasn't really bible bashing, it's just that any film which is based with with reference to some religious texts is going to have a lot of religion in it
