I agree totally with the above post.
I'm sure I've asked this before, but, can DJ explain how Oceans Eleven keeps you guessing until the end; Its got George Clooney and Brad Pitt planning a robbery. I knew within five minutes of the start of the film they'd get away with it. Where would the interest be if they got caught in the end, Andy Garcia kept Julia Roberts and George and Brad ended up with 20 years each!!

That's it. Now I know he's being silly. How can you possibly rate the travesty that is Oceans Eleven a better film that Pulp Fiction.

It was'nt whether they got away with it or not that kept you guessing, it was HOW they did the robbery which was the clever part. Oh and as for Pulp Fiction, i preferred Kill Bill Vol 1 as that was Tarantino's greatest.

I agree in that Bill Vol 1 is a great film. For some reason though I haven't got round to seeing volume 2 yet. I don't know why I haven't either.

You're wrong about the best bit in Pulp Fiction. I like the bit where Samuel L Jackson shoots the guy lying on the sofa and then sarcastically remarks: "Oh sorry, did I break your concentration?"

Total agreement with Resovoir Dogs. Everytime I here "Stuck in the Middle with You" it reminds me of Mr Blondes little dance with the straight razor in his hand. And the beauty of the scene is at no point do you actually see metal bite into flesh.

I prefer pulp fiction. They're showing it on a massive screen in heaton park on the 3rd, and I intend to go and annoy everyone by pre-empting every line.

I was going to go to that! I was quite disappointed when I found out I was going to France for two weeks on the 2nd.
Heaton Park... Is that where they did that big (crap) gig the other year with the White Stripes and such? I only went to see The Coral, but we managed to miss them like massive mongs. My friend nearly got off with one woman, who later her let us watch her piss (I think "pissed in front of us, much to our disgust" might be a more accurate way to describe it). I nearly crashed my Lada on the motorway on the way home. Good days.

The coral are great, the white stripes suck. I think the fun loving criminals will probably be rubbish too, but you it's difficult to complain for a fiver.

In the morning reminds me of my work experience as Radio 2 played it all through my time there. And Stevie wonder's "What the fuss".

I think I now remember hearing that off some one ages ago. Anyway, isn't this rather gruesome for your tastes Webby?

7/10 for Rush Hour is a bit harsh. It's a great film, as is the sequel.

I didn't know they still made pokemon films, or that anyone still wanted to watch them.

I personally think the second was better so that will be getting a higher rating. ..as for the Pokemon movies, they are still being released in Japan at the rate of 1 per year. I don't know if you've ever seen any of them but films 2,4 and 5 are excellent slices of anime. 3 was good but 1 kinda sucked.

I've never seen any of them, although I am guilty of watching the shitty tv program for a while.
Caught up in the hype, was I.

Sadly I was oblivious to the energetic, unpredictable world of hardcore substance abuse during the pokemon years (make that months). Of course, I'm unlikely to rediscover pokemon, although I am now a fan of drugs.

I used to watch the pokemon cartoon. It wasn't too bad to be perfectly honest, and Officer Jenny was fit

Why don't we have a new topic of ASK DJ. We ask any question and DJ gives us his worldly pearls of Wisdom.
I'll start. DJ what are your views on the television license fee??

I want to ask DJ whether he thought it was good that all the pokemon cried when Ash got turned to stone, and their tears brought him back to life?

I want to ask DJ whether he thought it was good that all the pokemon cried when Ash got turned to stone, and their tears brought him back to life? It was okay, but what happened beforehand was spoiled by a dodgy song played when the animals were fighting. That's one reason why Pokemon 1 is the weakest of all 5. Good idea about the ask DJ thread though, i'll set one up.
