The Die hard series are some of my favourite films, and I just discovered that they're making die hard 4! I really hope it doesn't turn out to be a crappy cash in - they could just pump out sh*t and sell it off the die hard name But Bruce Willis is still in it (he needs to be!). "John McClane has retired as a cop, and that's all that Fox have allowed me to tell you about it."------------------------------------------------------------ And this better not be f**king true www.killermovies.com/d/diehard4/articles/2705.htmlWho else liked the die hard films, and who's looking forward to this? A scheduled date is 2006, so quite a way off yet.

I think it'll be rubbish. Die hard one was class though, although you can take or leave the other two, because i'm not interested.

And I though they were both average, and that's the difference between us two.
I want a return to the early nineties ultra cheesy, ultra violent action films. Total Recall is my favourite mindless action flick, and I don't think it'll be bettered anytime soon. Robocop also rules though. And what about commando? Or predator? Terminator (and its illustrious sequel?)
Most current action flicks are pap.

Most current action flicks are pap. Plus, they're naming it Die Hard 4.0 Hopefully that doesn't signify some "hipness" about it =P

Die Hard 1 and 2 were good, but 3 was a disappointment. I just hope this one isn't crap.

First Die Hard film was excellent and Alan Rickman was superb. Second one wasn't as good, though the third was better.
And does anyone else agree with me that the third film would have been better if the Jeremy Irons character got away with it. The last ten minutes where Brucey caught up wth the bad guys was totally unnecessary in my opinion.
And Total Recall and RoboCop were great films. Both had Ronny Cox as the bad guy and were the better for this.
