I've recently seen Manchurian Candidate. That'd be my film of the year. However it didn't make the original shortlists. And there have been other releases that could have made it. Blade: trinity for example.

Mr Joe, being able to remove consonants from film titles does NOT automatically qualify you as a director.
Sigh, I really do need to show you guys one of my films one day.

Mr Joe, being able to remove consonants from film titles does NOT automatically qualify you as a director. Sigh, I really do need to show you guys one of my films one day. It's not the fact that I got rid of the vowels, It was more the fact of the images going through my head at the time which made me say that I could be a director. Imagine a "Chav" in a Man U shirt geting captured in Korea, then can't be brainwashed due to not having a brain! "Ignorant English filth" - Korean General "naaaa, know what I mean..." - Manc Scum "No" - Korean General ANYWAY, There aren't 3 n's in Manchurian Candidate

I think this 'Mancunian Candidate' has some promise! I'd help with the casting, I can think of at least 11 possibles in red shirts for the part of MANC SCUM!!

My favourite film of last year was OldBoy though.
Instead I had to vote for Spiderman 2. I was really surprised at how good it was when I watched it for the first time last night.
Again i'll mention the blindingly good picture/sound on the Superbit Region-1 DVD release.

Or just order it from CDwow (region 3 - But then don't most people have multi region players these days???) it's only £9.99 and the picture is amazing, as is the DTS-ES. Oh yeah, the film is fantastic too.
I didn't want to wait for the 'potentially' cut version which is released here sometime around Feb 20th.
