Yay, finally a place to talk about sports. damn i have nothing to say. oh well, if i think of something i'll post it here. i'll porbably update it every week with the weekend's football results. p.s. please don't turn this into a sleazy topic about porn or anything else not to do with football. The Off-topic board is for that!

I think Sven should go. Harry Redknapp should be made the new manager. Beckham should get the sack as captain(though keep him on as a player) and make Stevie Gerrard new captain with Rio Ferdinand as his deputy.
Instead of National Anthem, England should sing THREE LIONS.
I also hope Malcolm Glazier should take over Man Utd, Sack Sir Fergie, sell Old Trafford and make them share a stadium with Man City. Does any one else agree with these sensible polocies for the good of football??

As much as I hate man u i hope they survive Mr Glazier.Plus Fergie is full of rubbish for saying Man U are out of the title race. Side note:Should change the title to Football as sports is kinda vague....Could think of numerous others

I probably was a little over the top with my Glazier comments. I think England should beat Spain tonight. I remember Spain playing Scotland in friendly recently and the Spanish weren't interested. and its Barcelona v Madrid at the weekend so a few of the spanish players may have that on there minds.
PREDICTION: England to win 2-0 with Beckham scoring the first goal.

Steven Gerrard. ... ;D Steven Gerrard is no where near captain material. Fair enough he's a decent player but he has no leadership qualities. Why get rid of. Beckham anyway he's not doing a bad job and i reckon the other players look up to him. As for Rio Ferdinand as deputy, possibly but i reckon Frank Lampard should be his deputy. Then again i support chelsea so i'm biased. I also think Carlo Cudicini should be Englands Goalie. Just as a matter of interest. Who does everyone else support football-wise.

OK, I admit it, I'm rubbish at predictions. England were bad last nite. It was the worst England performance in ages. What was Rooney up to? People were making comparisons with Gazza, I can see why now.
Beckham had a shocking game(though he wasn't alone in that) and Robinson was the only player to come out the game with any credit.
I'm a Forest fan and Mourinho reminds me a bit of Cloughie. Any chance Chelsea would let him do a bit of part time International management?

A True Hammer fan then my friend. Speaking as a Forest fan I wish we still had Marlon Harewood.
Did you see the United game last nite. Good to see Roy Carroll keeping up the Man Utd Comedy goalkeeping tradition post Schmeichel!!

Definately not. Unfortunately, we have a chairman who would be better off as a ruler of a communist country! He screwed the club bigtime, and would no way hire someone who wants to spend big money. 1) He used £2m of the CLUB'S money to buy shares for himself, increasing his stake in the club. 2) (most important) When Rio was sold to Leeds for £18m, harry was given £400k not to spend any of it. 3) When Harry commented in OLAS, the hammers' fanzine that some more money to buy players would be good, HE GOT SACKED. 4) Then Frank Lampard left, giving the board another cool £11m. 5) He hired someone mentally weak, leaving the club with no hope. When he was ill, Trev Brooking took over, nearly saving us, thanks to the recall of Di Canio. 6)Roeder was incapacitated over the summer. This meant that there was no resistance from a manager to stop the sales of Joe Cole, Glen Johnson, Paolo Di Canio, Fredi Kanoute and Trev Sinclair. My point is, that getting Harry back won't fix the problem, it would just give us temporary hope for promotion. Good Old West Ham

Where do you think Harry will end up at?
That press conference today on Sky should be entertaining. Harry and Milan Mandaric; apparently Harry isn't to happy after newspaper reports about his transfer dealings.

Who do you think the best and worst foreign imports are to English Football:
Best foreign player has got to be Dennis Bergamp, Class.
Worst has to be Andrea Silenzi to Forest. You may not have heard of him, we hadn't. Two million quid straight down the toilet

Best Foreign Player - Peter schmeichel. Man U went to pot when he left.
Worst Foreign player - Savo Milosevic. He was shockingly bad

I think Schmeichel was great & I agree United aren't the same since he left. Bergkamp though was the catalyst for the Arsenal late nineties revival. I can still remember that goal against Leicester. Flicked it over Matt Elliot twice then into the net. He done a similar thing for Holland against the Argies in France 98!!
Milosevic was bad, apparently Brian Little bought him after seeing only a video of him. Shame he didn't notice he only used his left foot.

I stand duly corrected. Bad luck in the game against Leeds by the way,a shocking penalty decision. But at least yer in play off contention as opposed to relegation dogfight like us.
