Just finished watching the MTV Xbox 360 program (I had an American friend stream it to me) and got the specs for the Xbox 360.
Not too many surprises there really, the standard DVD drive is a bit of a shock so is its speed, plenty of people were expecting HD-DVD or a remote possibility of Blu-Ray but M$ have stuck with DVD-9 DL, one thing to note is that at 12x it isn't really all that fast, after all you can get DVD burners that burn at 16x and I think you can get 24x readers (haven't seen any myself, but I think they are about)
By the looks of it and what the rumored Nintendo Revolution specs are I would say Microsoft are going to be a very close last in the console power department, though it is still unknown how fast the Cell chip is for the PS3 and the Revolution seems to have the same CPU but with a 4 cores instead of 3 (clock speeds are reportedly 3.6-4.0ghz, although neither the Revolutions or PS3's specs are confirmed)
As for the other features, well I like the sound of them, Free Xbox Live Silver subscriptions for all, streaming movies from your PC to you console to be watched on TV (though I have a small PC to do that anyway) wireless controls as standard which work with Windows PC's as well. and the 20GB hard drive is a nice addition as well, though I love the fact it is upgradeable, I may find a home for that 400GB Hitachi I have lying about
All in all these specs add up to one hell of a console, as if not more powerful than the dual core PC's that are coming out now (and they are damn powerful) I am eagerly awaiting Nintendo and Sony's response to the Xbox 360, the only thing is, it has a terrible name
