Well, operation 'cinema bedroom' is complete (or at least will be when I get home to plug in and install it)
Just got my new high-definition Panasonic Projector and a 70" Panasonic screen. It's the PT-AE 500 model and is capable of blowing a picture seven and a half metres big... Yikes!
So long to my 28 inch TV, how will I ever choose what to watch first? Perhaps some great cinema moments like the chase scene in Matrix Reloaded? The huge battle in Return of the King? The train scene in Spiderman 2?
This leaves my AV setup as follows: Denon 2900 - DVD Player Sony 1080 - AV Receiver Kef 2005.2 - 5.1 Speaker setup £X00.00 of good quality cable
Can't wait to play 'Projector' Gotham Racing! ;D

After some consideration, the first thing I would do is play F-Zero GX. That would be mint.

Any driving sim. Get dome pedals and a wheel and it really will be like driving with the size of that screen

After an hour of worry I eventually managed to install the beast. My 28" looks bloody pocket sized by comparison. The picture quality is beyond my wildest dreams - It makes all the Plasmas I've seen look positively crap. All who have seen it have been gobsmacked which I guess makes it all worthwhile (plus the fact I can sit in awe watching Natalie Portman in EPII) I don't condone stealing...yet I'd do it for that projector..... ...better buy one of those Kensington locks hadn't I! Oh and Lightguns don't work on projectors except CRT ones in perfect conditions. Nor do they work on TFT/LCD screens - oh well...

You know that you need to get the US copy of F-Zero GX, so you can hav it in progresive scan mode on that wonderful thing.

Yes, prog scan F-Zero could quite easily bring great joy to my eyes.

Prog scan is in all the UK games as well, just not documented that is all (and sometimes an action replay code is needed)
