Lo all, a quick question for those technically minded Am I right in assuming the the Semperons are exactly the same as the Xp's but with half the cache?Finding a straight answer on the net is quite hard Thanks in advance! Digi

All Semprons upto 3000+ are Athlon XP's and they have the Standard amount of cache memory (not the extra that the barton core had 256kb compared to 512kb) Seprons from 3100+ are Athlon 64's without the 64bit extentions but it is just as fast in 32bit applications as the A64. So yes and no
