Who will win out of PSP, DS or will GBA still take the top spot? I don't see the GBA SP beating either the PSP or DS myself, but you never know. I'm backing the DS as the games I've seen for the PSP mostly look like PS2 ports, and I already have a PS2. I also like the look of the touch screen idea.
I think that PS2 owners may go to DS for the different games, whereas GC owners may go for the PSP to have different games.
DS has: Metroid, Mario, Wario Ware, etc PSP has: Gran Turismo, Pro Evo, Tiger Woods, Syphon Filter, etc.
As you can see, all these games have a PS2 or Gamecube counterpart, so I reckon that buyers may be of the opposite console ownership.

Well, if the article at the start of this months Edge is anything to go by then the DS may just beat PSP since Japanese publishers find it "less sexy" but think it'll be easier to program.

I think the Barcode Battler will be re-released and wipe the floor up In all honestly I think the PSP will come out top unless the GBA2 steps in with the DS. I do not want Sony to win by any means but at the moment I reckon the only card in Nintendo's hand is battery life.

It dosn't take a genius to figure out I am a bit of a Nintendo fan but even so I will likely get a PSP when they are affordable. Even if the battery life isn't that good I have had the urge to play arround with it which I can't seem to rid myself of.
I suppose I shall have to wait til It is released though.

I'm not interested in either. I'll just buy a Nomad off eBay whilst everyone goes mad for the PSP/DS. It's guaranteed to be cheaper that way, innit.

Why has no one mentioned the GP32???
No point in buying a Nomad when this bad boy has Snes and Megadrive emulators. It also has all sorts of crazy development going for it.
You'd probably have to pick one up off Lik Sang. What a cool site.

Yeah, I was looking into getting a GP32. They seem amazing. But new technology is so lame. Lo-fi is the future, man.

Damn right lo-fi's the future. I've invented Paper Tetris and it's sooo much better than normal Tetris, and cheaper. Forget PSP, Pen and Paper's the future.

Why hasn't anyone thought of making a wooden handheld? That'd be far better than the lame plastic colour schemes Nintendo are doing. They could use balsa wood to keep it light.
Actually, I'd just about cum in my pants if a company were to release a carbon fibre or titanium handheld. That'd rule even if it had "Atari" emblazoned across the front of it.

Somewhat scarily people HAVE modded handhelds and consoles to make wooden versions.
Let me dig up the link and i'll show you true fear. People have too much time!
