If you're going to post a message please could you make it more than one word. This has no relevance. You haven't even stated why or given an opinion. If you're only doing this to boost your post count its pathetic jason.

I know this person coz he goes to my school, but he's a bit weird in the head and will stalk me again if i ban him. (he used to follow me and my friends all the time trying to talk to us, then reports us when we don't)
Don't feel sorry for him because he hasn't done it to you.

Gamecube. Why? The pad is just so much better than most others (though Xbox is the only one that doesn't result in sweaty palms after an hour of play), plus I have atleast twice as many games for it than the Xbox.

PS2 simply because that's the console I own and don't have MUCH experience with the others, although my friend does have a gamecube which I play on sometimes.

Of the current crop i'd say gamecube, PS2 seems to have a distinct lack of original titles which is a shame as otherwise i'd get one, and there's nothing on the xbox that hasn't been done better on the PC. Also the gamecube controller is very comfortable although the S controller for the xbox is pretty good, my thumbs slip off the sticks on the ps2 and don't get me started on the L3 and R3 buttons

The sticks are cheap and nasty, the buttons are too flat and how exactly do you use the L3 and R3 buttons? Is it push the sticks in, or what, I still haven't figured out. And as for the Xbox, the controller S is awful! I tried it out on a pod in GAME, it's a nice size, but the placing of the start, back, black and white buttons was just plain bad, as was the gaps between the other buttons. I'm probably the only person in the world to prefer the original controller to the controller S.

Rez Freak out Amped Timesplitters (It was orriginal when it came out so wacky LOL) well I shant go on. But I have to agree that the GameCube is my favorite at the moment even though the PS2 gets played more. But the gamecube hasn't broken 4 times either so thats prehaps a reason i like it more. Oh and I have a PS2 controller that has similar analog placement to the GC and XB and the sticks are better it is the best third party ps2 controler arround.

I've never played Rez or Amped or Freak out, but a quick search on google reveals that one is a shoot em up game where your actions determine the tempo of music or something, Amped is merely a snowboarding game which can hardly be said to be original really, and the other is a psychedelic platformer judging by the screenshots. I woud argue that metroid prime, WW and Animal crossing (and harvest moon) are better, but as it is 10 to 2 in the morning I will concede that you are right and i am wrong. Damn i am such a nintendo WANGRA, a pox on me!

And technicly I am a Nintendo WANGRA but all the consoles seem to have orriginal games (although the Xbox less so but its still good) I will agree that Nintendo games seem to be more orriginal that others.

I am being facetious if anyone isn't getting it.

1) yes, Rez was on DC first. 2) And the PS2 controllers fine, the sticks are good (better than GC IMO because they aren't confined in the octagonal casing- look at the pic* although they are easier to grip) and it isn't hard to use the L3 and R3 buttons. *Look at the main stick to see what I mean

Sure the C stick could do with a top like the regular stick to just make it easier to grip, but their the least loose of the analogue sticks on all the consoles which means their easier to move around accuratly. I'd rather aim with them than the loose sticks of the PS2 that in all honesty seem to have been an after thought.

Sony just seemed to add them to the old pad in the only place they would fit. Also the PS2 and 1 sticks have a huge dead zone even when brand new. I don't know why they didn't fix it when they brought out the dual shock 2 but it is another reason the PS2's sticks aren't as good as the XB or GC's. The octagonal guide ring arround the GC's sticks is very good it dosn't restrict movement in any way in fact it helps. Playing gran turismo with the circular guide of the ps2 pad just feels wrong after playing f-zero.

best ever controller for racing games was the Dreamcast, the twin analogue triggers were far superior to the GC ones, they were awesome on F1 World Grand Prix 2 and crazy taxi ;D (best game on DC and one of the best of all time: Shenmue! ;D, after S2 ended on a cliffhanger i've been waiting for No.3 for years, where the hell is it? wah! )

i hated the looseness of the PS1 controller's analogue sticks and I never used them, but now I'm a true 'analogue gamer' (just made up a phrase there ;D) because the sticks on the PS2 controller are stiffer.

I sucked at Crazy Taxi on the PS2 but I completely beat my friends records on his PS when I played it on my DC. I heard that Shenmue 3 depends on how well Shenmue 2 sells on Xbox. Though it may never come after SEGAs last reshuffle, I think Yu Suzuki got moved out of AM2 so it may never come! But there was a rumour going around a while ago that S3 was gonna be a CGI movie...

Which is a shame really as although I thought the first one was kind of dull and slow paced, the second one seem to rectify most of the orriginals faults. I am not a huge Shenmue fan but I appreciate it's vision, and with work will live up to that.

I am not a huge Shenmue fan but I appreciate it's vision, and with work will live up to that. the reason it bombed on the DC was because it was one of the ill-fated machines final games, at that time all the major stores were discontinuing their DC shelves (to make room for an even bigger PS1 shelf! if i recall which i was very annoyed about ) i had to literally pre-order it several weeks before at GAME who were the only ones which were going to be stocking it at all, on the day i picked it up they only had 3 copies avaliable and 2 or which were pre-ordered (including mine), what also did'nt help was the sheer lack of advertising (this also applies for the XBox version of which had it been released on PS2 it would've done a lot better). The game itslef was excellent though not as good as Shenmue 1 which allowed me to live an alternate life in n80's Japan. infact S1 was probably one of the greatest games of all time as i have enjoyed many games before and since but 95% of them don't even come close to the experiences i had with S1 (of which i played through at least 5 times!)

sorry to sound totally dumb, but what type of game is Shenmue and what do you do in it? from everyone going on about it, it seems good.
