What I did go and see last wednesday though was Narnia, which was a very good film.

I did actually notice whilst I was writing it, but why should I have to go back and correct something which doesn't matter?

I want to see it. Probably won't get to see it though, because none of my family want to see it.

You could always let Harold take you, then catch the movie.

B/f doesn't want to see it either. Plus I'd feel stupid going on my own.

I wish I hadn't started reading those books again this weekend, it's just become a game of spotting the glaring errors. But yes, this context certainly demands "countries." What a sorry state of affairs, none of our superiors can string together sentences. Lions led by donkeys indeed.

I haven't seen it, but for DG's benefit a quick review of what I think mite happen.
A filmmaker with fit leading lady go to a mysterious island.
Fit leading lady gets kidnapped then rescued by a massive Gorilla with ensuing Rampage type action with T Rex's
Massive gorilla then ends up somehow comatose, lashed to a boat and heads for New York.
Massive Gorilla escapes from captivity, goes beserk in New York and heads for Empire State Building with fit leading lady in tow.
King Kong Dies.
I ain't seen it so I could be completely wrong.

nail.head.
then again, it is a remake, so your psychic powers might not be as powerful as we've been led to believe.

In fairness you can pretty much guess what happens by watching the trailers.
The original runs about 1 hr 20 mins, the new version runs over 3hrs.
My mate reckons Naomi Watts looks fitter in the Xbox King Kong game than the actually film.

naomi watts was fittest in mulholland drive, although the brunette was gorgeous too.

I was going to catch Kong tomorrow night but I just found out that it doesn't star Donkey Kong so now I'm going to boycott it. Truth be told i've been put off by the 3hr run time. Don't get me wrong I don't get fidgety watching long films but it sounds a little excessive for this type of film. - I'm still going to watch it though

It's odd, Kong is a blockbuster I'm actually defending from the criticism of my friends. Coming over all high and mighty about sticking with the original, as if it wasn't the film that single-handedly invented the action movie genre that my friends all despise. Since when did that kind of film become the sacred cow of bumbling artists? f**k Peter Jackson, f**k remakes of old films, but let's not do the holier than thou act on something that throroughly doesn't demand or deserve it. If it wasn't a whole three hours long I'd go just to spite my friends.

It makes you wonder why Peter Jackson (hasn't he lost weight since the Oscars) didn't do a Tarantino and release King Kong Volume I, then 6 months later King Kong Volume II.
